Job Description

We are looking for several project engineers in Electrical, Automation, and Instrumentation to join our growing team in Piteå. The role is broad and varied – perfect for you who enjoy combining technology, problem-solving, and project management.

You will work with:

• Modernization and optimization of production processes
• New construction of production lines and capacity increases
• Preparation of technical specifications for assembly and instrumentation
• Hardware design and programming of PLC/DCS systems
• Creation and interpretation of interlocking diagrams and functional descriptions
• Control engineering in collaboration with process engineers
• Project management, assembly management, and commissioning

You will have the opportunity to grow in your role as a consultant – with support from experienced colleagues and access to AFRY's extensive network of expertise.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in engineering or equivalent experience in electrical design
• Knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, ElProCad, or E-plan
• Experience from the process industry, preferably in maintenance or as a consultant
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• A valid driver's license and Swedish citizenship (some assignments are security classified)

You are a self-driven problem solver who enjoys taking responsibility, collaborating, and delivering quality. If you have your own customer contacts in the field, that is a big plus!
